| Clean your rolls and protect your employees health. No more need to use harmful chemicals or solvents. Soda Blasting/Blaster Master is the anwser. The process is patented and free of hazardous chemicals. Blaster Master uses only ArmexTM brand baking soda with a specific formulation for cleaning rolls.
Baking Soda blasting will clean your rolls and return the cell volumes to full capacity provided the roll is in good condition. Soda Blasting will not damage the rolls and will not shorten the life of the roll.

High friability (easily crumbled) with consistent angular fractures results in a smaller, uniformly angular cleaning particles. This feature ensures that all sides, walls and the bottom of cells are cleansed.

ArmexTM media is very soft (2.5 on Mohs Scale of Hardness) and is a friable cleaning agent. This means that blasting with ArmexTM is like throwing a snowball at a fence (breaks up) whereas other less friable media (plastic at 3.5 and glass at 5.0) is like throwing a stone at a fence.

ArmexTM media imparts a cleaning effect where other abrasives use a hit and cut method to clean or chop away the coating.

ArmexTM crystals begin at less than 70 microns. At impact, the crystal crumbles and gently imparts the energy into a cleaning mass. Much of this energy is transferred perpendicular to the angle of the blast across the entire cell structure. The result is a clean surface.

Since the ArmexTM media is soluble, any remaining soda after the cleaning process is quickly eliminated as part of the printing process.
